Overview

The main goal of the project is to advance the health, economic and social well being of women and girls survivors of Gender Based Violence in the rural communities of Giwa, Jema'a and Chikun LGAs of Kaduna State, Nigeria. The Project will popularize the content of Violence against Persons Prohibition Bill which is currently at the Kaduna State House of Assembly, to the populace through production of an abridged version for distribution. This will generate more response towards legislative advocacy. Community rulers, healthcare providers and security operatives will be thoroughly sensitized about GBV, to help inform their response and hold them accountable whenever incidents are reported.
