About me


Amina works as a Project Officer in GAT and has a strong background in development work; she joined GAT in 2014 and has gained knowledge and skills in advocacy, mobilization, report writing, planning and project implementation.

She has implemented projects like promoting dialogue on safety and security of schools in partnership with WARDC supported by UNDEF, Women in Politics (WIP) which seeks to strengthen women political participation in Kaduna State Supported by NDI.

Amina holds a BSc Mass Communication and a Masters in International Affairs and Diplomacy from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

About me


Tida Leo Abbah - works as a Project Officer at Gender Awareness Trust (GAT) and is enthusiastic about development work and its' impact on the target individual. Over the years, she has gained improved knowledge and understanding around working with stakeholders at both State and Community levels, with keen interest on the Adolescent group (Male/Female).

While working in GAT, she has successfully implemented the Collective Action for Adolescent Girls Initiative (CAAGI) project funded by Christian Aid and the Humanitarian Dialogue (HD) as well as supported other Project Team members.

Tida earned a Masters Degree in  International Affairs and Strategic Studies (MIASS) from the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

About me


Nannak Tiana Ndam - works as a Project Officer at GAT, and she is passionate about development work. She has gained progressive professional experience working with GAT for the past 2 years in planning, coordinating and implementing projects. She is adept in ICT and report writing. She has implemented projects like Voice to the People funded by Christian Aid, Women in Politics funded by Voices for change and assisted in Promoting dialogue on safety and security of schools project supported by UNDEF.

  Nannak a graduate of Mass Communication from Bingham University, Karu and has also earned a Master's Degree in Conflict Security and Development from the prestigious Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna.

About me


Stephen John- holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) Degree in Theatre and Performing Arts from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. He hails from Zangon Kataf Local government Area of Kaduna State. He speaks English, Hausa and Atyap fluently.

Highly conscientious Community Development Worker with an excellent community service record and a strong work ethic. Stephen Joined the service of Gender Awareness Trust in the year 2016. The Project officer of the Voice to the people project; a good governance project with support from Christian Aid from 2016-2018. He also supported the project on stigma reduction and economic empowerment of women and girls survivors of Gender Based Violence with support from Amplify Change from 2016-2018.
