GAT commemorated the International Women’s Day 2022 (IWD2022) with a experience sharing and sensitization meeting with young women at the GAT office. Discussions centered around SGBV, poverty and education. Information was provided on the sexual assault and referral services within the state, the provisions and sanctions of the Kaduna State Violence Against Persons and Prohibition Law and processes for engaging duty bearers in education and politics.
